History of European thought

EU enlargement has considerably strengthened the interest of Polish public opinion in the "History of European thought". The key questions featuring in the Polish debate refer to evolution of certain ideas, concepts, and integration projects that became the cornerstones of today's EU. What are the traditions upon which the present European project is based upon? To what extent Polish political thought contributed to the success story of the postwar integration of western Europe? Within the programme we are going to present essays and analyses concerning European integration thought. We will also review and recommend publications, conferences and seminars which in our view are the most inspiring sources of reflection on the future of Europe.
