Expert on EU's home and justice affairs. Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Main interests and research areas: security governance; internal security of the EU; cross-border police cooperation between EU Member States. Former Visiting Fellow in Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen in Vienna (1994), Visiting Scholar in Complutense University of Madrid (1998), Skalny Visiting Professor in University of Rochester (2002).
